TEAM MEMBER SINCE: 2017

Highest Level Competed:
NATIONALS 2018 & 2020
ABOUT: I joined the biathlon team because I was convinced I could do well in skiing if I could do well in running.  Turns out skiing is very skillful and not all fitness.  I like Biathlon because it is such a unique sport I could not do without cadets.  I am so thankful cadets has given me this opportunity!  My goals are to medal at nationals as a team and at provincials individually.

ABOUT:  I love biathlon because of the competitiveness and physical activity.  It is great since you get two sports combined into one.  Also this elite sport allows for amazing opportunities.

TEAM MEMBER SINCE: 2020

HIGHEST LEVEL COMPETED:
regionals 2020
ABOUT: I joined biathlon because I did a biathlon run-and-shoot at basic marksmanship camp and I really enjoyed it and thought it was something I can do.  I like the shooting aspect of the sport because its not like regular marksmanship where you're relaxed at a low hart rate, instead you’re the opposite.  It is a very physically and mentally demanding sport and I enjoyed the challenge this year.

ABOUT: I like biathlon because it emphasizes the fact that success is a journey, not a destination.  It's an amazing sport and I have grown both physically and mentally because of it.  My only regret is not trying out earlier in my cadet career.  Go Rangers!
