New cadets wishing to register with the 2799 Queen's York Rangers, please be go to the Online Registration Tool to begin your process! Before starting your online application ensure you have the following information ready:
The 2799 staff will be in touch to determine a time to review official identification, address any questions that require clarification, and welcome you to the Cadet Program!

- health card; and
- address and phone numbers of all parents/guardians.

Think you'd like to be a Ranger? Come check us out! The Queen's York Rangers parade Tuesday nights at 6:30pm at the John Graves Simcoe Armoury in Aurora (just check the home page for training to be sure we'll be there, and see Contact Us for a map). Don't worry, no experience is necessary. We want you to feel what it's like to be part of something this big. Bring a friend!

- Complete a Application for Membership via the Online Registration Tool
Next, submit the following documents to [email protected]
- Complete a Transportation Permission Form submit via email
- a completed Cadets And Junior Canadian Rangers Youth Code Of Conduct submit via email
- a completed Support Committee Questionnaire Form
- a copy of one of the following pieces of identification of the applicant (Submit scan via email):
- a valid Canadian passport, or
- a birth certificate, or
- a valid resident card, or
- a valid identification card issued by a Canadian federal or provincial government agency
- note that a provincial health card is not accepted as proof of citizenship and/or birth date
- a copy of the applicant's Health Card
- if you answer Yes to any of the health questions in Section 7 of the Application for Membership you must also have your parent complete and sign a Detailed Health Questionnaire, which will be given to you soon after you submit the remaining forms and documents; once completed, place the signed Detailed Health Questionnaire in a sealed envelope marked "DHQ" followed by your son/daughter's name and forward to the Administration Officer as soon as possible
- if your child/ward has any legal limitations please provide a copy of any court or tribunal decree or judgement
- if someone has "Limited Access Rights" to your child/ward please provide a copy of the relevant pages from the court decree or judgement or separation agreement
