Dress this week is C1A ; black pants and white dress shirt for those without a uniform.  Cadets wearing DEU should ensure all badges are sewn on correctly with proper placement and badge order/precedence.  See the uniform page for information on badge placement and precedence. 

Next week is our Mess Dinner.  All cadets will need to wear a white dress shirt and black bowtie under their uniform.  Bowties can be purchased at the armoury from the canteen for $5.

  • Bivouac/Adventure FTX - May 28.  All cadets are expected to attend.  Cadets and their parents must complete the Informed Consent Form in order to participate.  Consent Form must be submitted to the admin office NO LATER THAN MON 23 MAY.  See event below and Warning Order for details.

SAT 28 MAY - Bivouac/Adventure FTX
Saturday 28 May 2022
START TIME:  0730hr| END TIME: 1900hr 
LOCATION:  Bruce's Mill Conservation Area

In order to fulfil the requirements of their respective Star Level Training, all cadets are to participate in a Bivouac and Adventure Field Training Exercise (FTX) (MST #5&6).  The Bivouac/Survival FTX is scheduled to be conducted on the 28th of May 2022 at Bruce’s Mill Conservation Area (BMCA) in Stouffville, ON. 

Training will include constructing shelters and components of a bivouac, performing duties of a team member in the field, and environmental stewardship.  Additionally, cadets will participate in adventure training at Treetop Trekking.  Only cadets and parents who have signed and returned the Informed Consent Form will be permitted to participate.

LOCATION:  Stonehaven Banquet Hall

This week is our Mess Dinner and we will be recognizing all of those cadets who have earned awards and recognition.  Work on your uniforms, wear a white dress shirt and plain black bow tie in place of your green shirt and tie (see order of dress file below).  Put forth a strong effort on your boots as well as your whole uniform.  Your uniform shows you care in your duties as well as your Pride in your Corps.  Plan for a fun evening and our last night of cadets before the Annual Ceremonial Review parade.

There will be a change of location this week.  We will be at the Aurora Community Centre preparing for our Annual Ceremonial Review Parade happening on Sat June 11.  This is our second most important parade of the year and ALL cadets must attend! 

Dress this week is civilians.  Cadets are to bring their full C1A uniform in a uniform bag, along with a lint brush, sewing kit, and boot polishing kit.  Uniforms will be stored in the change rooms for cadets to change into when they arrive on Saturday.  Black dress shoes, black dress pants and white dress shirt for those without a uniform.  Cadets wearing DEU should ensure they bring all the parts of their uniform, and all badges are sewn on correctly with proper placement and badge order/precedence.  See the uniform page for information on badge placement and precedence.

SAT 11 June - Annual Ceremonial Review
Saturday 11 June 2022
START TIME:  0800hr| END TIME: 1500hr 
LOCATION:  Aurora Community Centre

Today is our Annual Ceremonial Review parade.  This is our second most important parade of the year! All cadets MUST attend!  The ACR is an opportunity for cadets to demonstrate their drill, dress and deportment, as well as some skills they've learned, in front of parents and distinguished guests.

Cadets will arrive on Saturday morning in their civilian clothes.  The morning will consists of drill and practicing for the parade.  The parade will start at 1300hr.  Cadets will change into their uniform at the ACC.  Dress for the parade is
